About Full Measures
A conference directory and step work toolkit built by people in recovery
Our Story
Built by someone who needed a meeting list at 11 PM in a hotel room
Full Measures started because the existing tools were either clinical intake forms or gamified wellness apps. Neither felt like what we actually use in recovery: notebooks, meeting lists, phone trees, and the Big Book.
So we built the digital version of that. Conference dates verified against official flyers. Step work tools that cite the Big Book by page number. Crisis resources that work at 3 AM in airplane mode.
Built by people in the rooms. Designed around the traditions: anonymity, service, and not being affiliated with anything we shouldn't be.
What We Stand For
What this is
Encrypted step work tools, a verified YPAA conference directory, and crisis resources — all offline-capable. A supplement to your program, not a replacement for meetings or a sponsor.
Where this is going
The meeting list that every district needs but few maintain. Conference data verified like medical references. Step work tools that cite the Big Book by page number.
The privacy part
Your data is encrypted before it leaves your device. We can't read your entries and we don't want to. No ads, no data selling, no anonymity compromises.
How we build this
Six rules we don't break
Anonymity First
Your privacy isn't a feature—it's a fundamental right. End-to-end encryption means your deepest reflections stay yours alone.
Practical Design
Dark mode for late-night use. Crisis resources always one tap away. Conference dates with last-verified timestamps. Built for use, not display.
Program Integrity
We honor AA, NA, and DBT principles. This isn't a replacement for meetings, sponsors, or therapy—it's a supplement to your program.
Service-Oriented
We're here to be helpful, not profitable at your expense. No ads, no upsells, no exploitation of vulnerable moments.
Always Available
Recovery doesn't wait for business hours. Full Measures works offline, at 3 AM, in airplane mode—whenever you need it.
Accurate Data
Conference dates verified against official flyers. Registration links tested before publishing. If we're not sure, we say so.
Why Full Measures?
The name comes from the Big Book: "Half measures availed us nothing" (BB p. 59). This is a full-measure tool — no half-built features, no shortcuts on privacy, no compromises on accuracy.
Dark mode by default because you're using this at night. Crisis numbers always visible because that's when they matter. Paper-textured surfaces because this is meant to feel like the notebooks people actually carry to meetings.
The design is practical, not decorative. If something is in the app, it's because someone in recovery asked for it.
What we guarantee
Privacy
Your data is encrypted before it leaves your device. We can't read your journal entries—and we never want to.
Safety
Crisis resources are prominently displayed, work offline, and connect you to professional help immediately.
Respect
We honor your program's principles. This tool supports—never replaces—meetings, sponsors, and professional treatment.
Commitment
This isn't venture-funded. It's maintained by people in the rooms and sustained by donations. We plan in decades, not quarters.
Free. Private. No ads. No data selling.
